LCA San Diego: Getting Active for the Animals!
Since we formed the San Diego chapter of Last Chance for Animals in 1993, our main activity as a non-profit, all-volunteer animal rights organization has been to bring our info booth to street fairs and other events around the county. We give away lots of free literature and CDs about veganism and other animal rights issues, and we show Meet your Meat on our portable TV. We have been able to educate a lot of people over the years, thanks to the dedication of many volunteers! It would be GREAT if you can help.
Attend and Volunteer at Last Chance for Animals EventsSunday, August 10 Hillcrest CityFest
We will give away Vegetarian Starter Kits and other free literature and answer people's questions about eating vegan and other animal rights issues. You don't need to be an expert! It's relatively easy and fun, and we reach a lot of people. Over the past 15 years, we've gotten lots of positive feedback from people who took our literature and went veg! If you're a friendly vegetarian or vegan and would like to help, please email Joy@AllVeganShopping.com.
