You have just dined, and no matter how scrupulously the slaughterhouse is concealed in the graceful distance of miles, there is complicity.

LCA San Diego: Getting Active for the Animals!

Since we formed the San Diego chapter of Last Chance for Animals in 1993, our main activity as a non-profit, all-volunteer animal rights organization has been to bring our info booth to street fairs and other events around the county.

If you are a friendly vegetarian or vegan, we need your help at these and other upcoming tabling events! This is where we set up an information booth at street fairs and festivals, to offer people free Vegetarian Starter Kits, San Diego Veg Dining Lists, and other literature. We show Meet your Meat on our portable TV. And we answer people's questions about what we eat, where we get our protein, and whether or not fish are on the vegan menu! You don't need to be an expert to volunteer. It would be GREAT if you can help.

To volunteer for Last Chance for Animals events:

Contact Joy at Joy@AllVeganShopping.com, or call 760-943-7428.

To make a donation to the San Diego chapter of Last Chance for Animals:

Please send a check to "Last Chance for Animals" or "LCA", P.O. Box 356, Cardiff, CA 92007. We are an all-volunteer, non-profit 501c3 organization, and we do not have any paid staff or an office. We have no overhead other than a post office box and telephone voicemail service. We have less than $1,500 in the bank, and we need additional funds to pay for booth space at street fairs, literature, and blank CDs.

Thanks very much for doing what you can to help the animals!
